Ski Pucon Villarrica Volcano Ski Snowboard touring telemark

massive snowfall hit the central and southern chilean andes.

last weekend we went to ski to skipucon. was great, friday there were 30 cms of fresh dry powder in the ski resort. saturday conditions were cold, but that keep the conditions of the snow and the quality was amazing , smooth, soft, great. skiing down, on the left side of chairlift number 3, was quite icy, and the ski patrols had to rescue somebody who got into an accident trying to ski down into the canyon.

i actually even fell there myself, was practizing my teleturns and suddenly the powder become glass ice and i almost fell down the canyon. it didnt happens so its all good.

apart from that, the place was sick, no lines in the lift, not much people, and the terrain its a dream for freeriders, natural half pipes, rocks, clifts, endless ideas. but also for those who arent that pro, the slopes were great, nicely groomed.

to end thsi report i have to say that the view of the lake, with the reflection of the sun, looks like metalized, was simply surrreal.
